HI, I’M NIKO
THERAPIST
I am a contemplative therapist and educator committed to helping people come home to themselves — to be in presence with what’s true, and to meet that truth with compassion and approval. With attunement, curiosity, and care, I support clients in cultivating deeper self-agency, self-compassion, and embodied awareness.
My work is rooted in contemplative practice, present-moment connection with the body, and parts work. I hold a deep belief that every person is sacred and already carries the wisdom they need to heal. Therapy, to me, is a collaborative and liberatory space — a place where we can explore your truth together and honor the many layers of your experience.
MY MOTIVATION AS A THERAPIST & IN ALL OF MY WORK IS COLLECTIVE LIBERATION
I am especially passionate about desire-centered sex and relationship therapy, supporting folks navigating burnout, relational challenges, developmental trauma, and major life transitions such as breakups. I love working with queer and trans clients, non-monogamous folks, and those healing from religious trauma. My therapeutic framework is influenced by justice, liberation, and the understanding that therapy is inherently political. I am currently an LPCC working toward AASECT certification as a sex therapist.
I became a therapist because I saw the need for more queer clinicians who are both contemplatively grounded and critically engaged in justice movements. It’s a privilege to create spaces where people can breathe more deeply into their own lives.
Outside the therapy room, you can often find me hiking, climbing, trail running, reading, painting & printing with ink, making music, or spending time with my kinship network — beloved friends, ponderosa trees, and my partner.
